A Unique Approach

Building Opportunity

At the MCN Build Foundation, we want to leave the world better than we found it. That means creating opportunities for children and adults who have been afforded fewer chances in life.

The majority our work concentrates on education in the greater Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas and in select communities abroad. In all, the MCN Foundation supports more than 16 educational projects around the globe, helping more than 4,888 underprivileged children get a better education, so they can build a better future for themselves, their families and society.

We have renovated an orphanage and school in Lebanon, built a digital library in Ethiopia from the ground up, and supported over 55 organizations, churches, and schools including Bread for the City, Teach For America and The Boys Town Children’s Home, right here in the nation’s capital. Each project is different, but we approach them all with the same passion, conviction and purpose — to build resources that create lasting value for generations to come.
